I must admit we search out waterfalls when we travel for the amazing views of the cascading waters. But it was great to read about all the spots in Europe for great waterfalls and swimming too. A cool dip in the water after a hike in the summer sounds perfect. Although I must admit I might pass on swimming in the cold waters of Iceland. We have not yet visited Wales but will have to add Henydh Falls to the list of things we want to see. A cave waterfall in Slovenia looks amazing. Some new spots for our Europe list for sure.
Yes, so many amazing waterfalls in Iceland. Went to High Force in NE England. But didn’t know hiw many more throughout Europe. We shouId have sought Korjak in Slovenia!
I’m actually not that waterfall-buff like many travellers are. However, I really liked the falls in Croatia – in Krka, you can also swim in the waterfall – just a little addition to your list. Actually, the beautiful Kravica falls remind me a lot of Krka. My favorite, however, are Cascate del Mulino – at least from your picture. I really have to go there next time I’m visiting Italy!
